• The Transfer of Property Act, 1882, governs how property is transferred between parties.
• The Registration Act, 1908, sets out the requirements for registering deeds and documents.
• The State Acquisition and Tenancy Act, 1950, the foundation of modern land tenancy in Bangladesh.
